Important Notes:

• The 2010 Alabama Department of Transportation Special and Standard Highway Drawings are proprietary information of the State of Alabama and are intended for use only on ALDOT sponsored projects. These drawings are not to be altered in any way.  Unauthorized use of any or all of these drawings may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 

• Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view these files. You may download the free Adobe Reader software from Adobe’s web site, (www.adobe.com). 
• If you already have Adobe Acrobat on your computer, your version of Adobe Acrobat Reader should be at least Version 5.0. 
• If you want to print the Plan Sheets please be aware that the page will be resized to fit on the page that it is to be printed on. The Standard Drawings are sized like full-sized plans (36"x24"). When you print on regular  paper (8 1/2" x 11"), the print will be reduced to a very small size.  You have the option of selecting pages and/or printers when you are in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• The file sizes for these changes are quite large (range from 2,000,000 - 13,000,000 bytes {2 - 13 MB} ).  If you are using "dial-up or other slower Internet connections, downloading these files may take a few minutes.
• The Standard Drawings have been combined into sections to allow for better maintenance on the ALDOT web site.
